Canned mandarin oranges The canned mandarin consisting of mandarin oranges segments preserved as acid food with a pH bellow 3.6, and a proper heat treatement to reach a commercialy sterile product with a self live of three years after packing. Once not edible parts of mandarin oranges has been removed, the mandarin orange segments are packed in different styles:

The canned mandarins are packed through two seasons: Satsuma variety middle october through middle of january and Clementina variety january through end of february.
